Item# SuperStarSoftwareUpgrade
$20.00

How to Purchase a Superstar Software Upgrade:

Step 1: Confirm your license key and associated email address: https://lightorama.com/licenseCheck.html or check in the Help Menu of the Sequence Editor/Sequencer.
Step 2: Confirm your current Superstar license level (8_CCR-400 pixels, 60_CCR-3000 pixels, 160_CCR-16,000 pixels, etc.): Look in the upper left corner of the Superstar program.
Step 3: Select the Software Upgrade option above that matches your current license level going to the license level you wish to purchase
Step 4: When checking out, USE THE SAME EMAIL ADDRESS YOUR LICENSE IS ASSOCIATED WITH WHEN YOU PAY FOR THE UPGRADE!

After Purchase (Re-registering your software):

To activate your new license level, use the form in the Help Menu of the Sequence Editor/Sequencer. (Note: Your license key number will not change so you do not need to re-enter it.)

IMPORTANT:

1. You must already have a valid Light-O-Rama Superstar license
2. You must use the same email address to check out (pay) that is associated with your current license key or your upgrade will NOT work (Click here to change the email address associated with your license key BEFORE you make your purchase if necessary).
3. You must select the correct starting license level (4_CCR, 16_CCR, 160_CCR, etc.) or your upgrade will NOT work.

Which version do I need to upgrade to?

One CCR (Cosmic Color Ribbon) is equal to 50 pixels, or 150 channels. For example, if you purchase one of our SuperStar ribbon tree kits (16 strands of 50 pixels), you would need the 16_CCR version of SuperStar (800 pixels). If you are going to use SuperStar for the Auto Sequence feature (compatible with both RGB and AC lights), you will likely be concerned with the number of channels supported. For example, the 4_CCR version would allow you to control 200 pixels, which is also the equivalent of 600 AC channels (or 37.5 CTB16PC/LOR160x controllers).

License Version CCRs - Pixels Supported
4_CCR 4 CCRs - 200 Pixels
8_CCR 8 CCRs - 400 Pixels

16_CCR 16 CCRs - 800 Pixels

24_CCR 24 CCRs - 1,200 Pixels

40_CCR 40 CCRs - 2,000 Pixels

60_CCR 60 CCRs - 3,000 Pixels

80_CCR 80 CCRs - 4,000 Pixels

160_CCR 160 CCRs - 8,000 Pixels

320_CCR 320 CCRs - 16,000 Pixels
