If you are purchasing a NEW license for a client, please type both the name and email address for the license in the "Notes for Seller" before clicking checkout on the cart page. The license information will be emailed to the email address you list.
If you are UPGRADING a client license, please type the first 10 digits of the license key in "Notes for Seller" before clicking checkout on the cart page. Do not type the full license key for security reasons.

How Long Is The License Good For?
Any license related purchase grants you access to use thesoftware versionavailable at the time of your purchase forever - no yearly fees or additional purchases required. This is different from yourlicense level(Basic, Standard, or Pro), which determines how MANY lights you can control. You may want to upgrade this part of your license over time.
If you made your last license related purchase when S5 was the latest available version (on or before August 21, 2022), you have access to use any version of S5 forever, no additional fees. For your license to be considered 'active' for S6, you will need to purchase this Major Release Upgrade if you would like to use the latest version of our software.
If you made your last license related purchase when S6 is the latest available version (on or after August 22, 2022), you have access to use any version of S6 forever, no additional fees. Your license is considered 'active' for S6. You do not need to purchase this Major Release Upgrade until S7 is released.
If you made your last license related purchase when S5 was the current version, but within the one year prior to the first release of S6 (purchase made on or after August 22, 2021), your license is considered 'active' for S5, but you are able to download the first minor version of S6 for free (6.1*) due to our bonus "One Year Promise" for software versions. You will need to purchase a Major Release Upgrade after one year from your purchase date in order to have an 'Active' S6 license and download all future released versions of S6.
If you made your last license related purchase when S5 was the current version, but within one year prior to the second minor version release of S6 (purchase made on or after March 31, 2022), your license is considered 'active' for S5, but you are able to download the second version of S6 for free (6.2*) due to our bonus "One Year Promise" for software releases. You will need to purchase a Major Release Upgrade after one year from your purchase date in order to have an 'Active' S6 license and download all future released versions of S6.
You do NOT have to pay a Major Release Upgrade fee for each major release between your initial version and the most current version available (i.e., upgrading from S3 to S6 still only costs $29.95, not $29.95 x 3 to jump through S4 and S5 to reach S6).
Remember:Your software license never expires.You will always be able to use the version you downloaded when you made your initial purchase - no yearly subscription fees to use our software. You only pay if and when you want to unlock more features or upgrade to the next major release.
