Assembly

The 16-Foot Modular Megatree is a durable, easy-to-assemble pixel tree system thoughtfully designed and fabricated in the USA by experienced decorators. Its sturdy 1-1/4” steel uprights and legs connect securely to the base, while precision-fit pole pins create a solid, continuous vertical surface that lets the Tree Topper glide smoothly into place.

The compact Tree Topper gives the tree a fine point and uses carabiners for quick strip attachment, while the Pulley Head supports the Star Topper and anchors the guy-wire system for stability in tough weather. A secure Winch Pin prevents sway during cranking, and the precision-built Base Hoop follows a golden 2:1 ratio to keep strip tension and alignment ideal all season long.

NOTE: The Tree Topper is assembled on the ground and the tree is tilted up. A 10ft extension is required if connecting a 32" star to a 16x50 CPC Package Tree with this frame to avoid use of a ladder after assembly.

Each 16-Foot Modular Megatree Kit includes all the primary structural and rigging components needed to assemble a strong, reliable, and professional-looking display.

  • Megatree Base - Heavy-duty steel frame that anchors the entire structure, supporting both the vertical uprights and horizontal legs for maximum stability.
  • Vertical Uprights - Rigid structural poles that form the central spine of the tree, designed for quick connection to the base and each other using pole pins.
  • Horizontal Legs -  Provide a wide, balanced stance at the base of the tree to ensure stability and prevent tipping while doing initial assembly
  • Pole Pins - Precision-fit connectors that lock the vertical sections together, creating a seamless, solid shaft for the Tree Topper to travel along.
  • Tree Topper - Compact, low-profile design that creates a pointed silhouette while providing easy attachment points for Megatree Strips using included carabiners.
  • Pulley Head - Functions as both the support platform for your Star Topper and the anchor point for the guy-wire system, keeping the tree centered and secure.
  • Star Anchor – Upright pole that sits at the top of the tree to secure your Star to shine bright for all to see.
  • Winch Pin Assembly - Holds the manual crank firmly in place to prevent unwanted movement during operation while keeping your Tree Topper in place at the top.
  • Metal Base Hoop - Sturdy, square steel hoop built in the ideal 2:1 ratio to maintain even spacing and consistent tension across all Megatree Strips.
  • Stainless Steel Rope Guy Wires - Provide lateral stability and wind resistance, ensuring your tree remains upright and properly tensioned.
  • Bungee Balls - Secure your Megatree Strips to the Base Hoop, maintaining tight, consistent alignment throughout the season.
  • Carabiners - Used to connect each Megatree Strip to the Tree Topper for quick installation and removal.
  • Threaded Quick Links - Connect the guy wires to the Pulley Head, offering secure, adjustable attachment points.
  • Anchor Shackle - Joins the steel rope from the Winch Pin to the Tree Topper, providing a strong and reliable lifting connection.

Building your 16-Foot Modular Megatree is designed to be straightforward and requires minimal tools. View instructions with pictures here.

  • Begin by positioning and leveling the Megatree Base.
  • Attach three of the four Horizontal Legs to form a semi-stable foundation. Keep the fourth leg nearby for later installation.
  • Tighten the three locking bolts on the Megatree Base to prevent the legs from shifting.
  • Insert the first Vertical Upright pole into the base.
  • Insert the Winch Pin into the first Vertical Upright.
  • Stack the second Vertical Upright pole on top of the Winch Pin.
  • Insert the first Pole Pin into the second Vertical Upright.
  • Slide the Sliding Topper over the Pole Pin and Vertical Uprights so it rests on the Winch Pin.
  • Tilt the tree sideways so that two horizontal legs rest on the ground while the third stands upright.
  • Attach the third Vertical Upright pole to the first Pole Pin.
  • Insert the second Pole Pin into the third Vertical Upright.
  • Attach the final Vertical Upright pole.
  • Slide the Pulley Head into the top of the last Vertical Upright.
  • Thread some slack from the Winch Pin: through the rectangular hole on the Sliding Topper, through the Pulley Head, over the pulley, back down through the Pulley Head, and attach to the Sliding Topper with the Anchor Shackle.
  • Attach the four guy-wires using the Threaded Quick Links.
  • Install the Star Anchor on the Pulley Head.
  • Attach your Star Topper to the Pulley Head along with an extension cord. 
  •  Carefully tilt the tree back to vertical. Once upright, insert the fourth Horizontal Leg into place and tighten it securely.
  • Ensure the tree is positioned exactly where you want it, then anchor it to the ground using the four guy-wires.
  • With the structure stable, attach your Megatree Strips to the Tree Topper using the included Carabiners.
  • Crank the tree up using the Winch Pin.
  • Once the tree reaches full height, secure the bottoms of the Megatree Strips to the Base Hoop with Bungee Balls.


Once all strips are in place and tightened, your Modular Megatree will maintain perfect tension and alignment throughout the season, ready to shine in your display.
