Pixel Bright Configuration

3 Paths to Pixel Bright Sequences

Our new Pixel Bright Sequence Layout supports three configuration options, depending on how you want to control your show, what equipment you may already own, and your willingness to explore and learn the customization side of our software.

Easiest Setup

Best for users with directors

Download a Compact Preview

Download a free, ready-made "Compact Preview" with 1-4 ELOR networks to power modified Pixel Bright sequences. Choose the design that best matches your setup plans, then use with ELOR USB-485 Adapters or Directors.

  • No Custom Layout Designing required
  • Use a Showtime Director, computer or Touch Player for playback
  • Maximize the capacity of a Director or 4-Port USB Adapter with your favorite props, in a pre-designed layout.

Best for users who want it all

Use our Default Layout

Play all the effects for the full ~17.7k Pixel Bright Layout with no network configuration. The default uses 1 ELOR Network (AC, Floods & Singing Faces), 5 Pixielink Ports, and 1 Aurora Core (Garage Matrix)

  • No Custom Layout Designing Required
  • Computer or Touch Player required for playback.
  • Configure intermediate level equipment to skip network reconfiguration and preview design.

Best for users willing to learn

Create a Custom Preview

Use our software to create your preview - decide which props to buy and where they'll be installed, and see it all on your virtual home. Take full control over Unit IDs / Universes / Networks, and still use our Pixel Bright Sequences.

  • Design a Custom Preview!
  • Use a Showtime Director, computer, or Touch Player for playback
  • Take full control over Networks & Unit IDs for efficient design, and watch virtual playback on YOUR home!

Default Layout

Pixel Bright Network Overview

Creating your own custom preview is always the best option, but you can also use our default layout to run your show!

To use the default layout, configure your controllers to match the settings below (or use your package Quick Guide), and all of the effects stay stored in the default sequence as you play your show, even if you don't yet own the props. This means next year, you can connect a new CPC Package (following this diagram), and the effects are there - ready to play.

Additional Props / Special Notes

The default Preview contains an additional set of 4 Snowflakes, 4 Spinners, 4 Frames, 2 Rooflines (as Door and Garage Outlines), and 2 Crystal Snowflakes.

The duplicate props above are configured in the default preview to "use the same channels as" the original CPC Package, allowing you to simply buy a second package and integrate these props into your display. More advanced users can create a custom preview to daisy chain the duplicate props from ports on their current controllers, within networking limits.

8 Candy Canes are shown in the preview, and sequenced separately as two groups of 4. The Candy Canes near the Lollipops are often sequenced with complimentary Candypack effects. The Candy Canes near the Mega Trees often have different sequencing, designed for Candy Canes elsewhere as distinct props in your show.

Traditional Light Setup

Use these arrangements for AC lights & controllers. RGBPlus builds on the controller layouts in our Traditional Layout. For more details on decorating with traditional lights, explore the Traditional Layout Setup Guide.

Controller 01

Four groups of four fixtures (Does not have to be the same props we have decorated in the picture)

Controller 02

Four fixtures, each with four different colored light strings, taking up 4 channels each (4x4=16)

Controller 03

Two groups of 8 fixtures (like two arches, two small mega trees, two sets of 8 yard props)
