The Light-O-Rama Touch Player allows a user to control their light show without a personal computer. It can play shows without music or synchronize the lights to audio or video media. Audio can be output to a 3.5mm audio jack or Bluetooth. Video can be output to a full-sized HDMI port. User input is performed via the high resolution 7” touch screen display. From here, users can configure controllers and networks, test lights, and set up and play shows.
Lighting controllers from Light-O-Rama and third parties are supported. LOR, ELOR, and DMX protocols are supported via 4 built-in RS-485 ports. E1.31 and Art-Net protocols are supported via the 1Gb Ethernet port. The device also supports advanced integration via its REST API and can synchronize with other Touch Players or third-party devices with its SMPTE and Art-Net time code support.
Users can connect the Touch Player to the Internet via the built-in Wi-Fi, enabling the device to be controlled via Light-O-Rama’s mobile app.
The device stores data on its internal 128GB SSD drive – enough for even the largest light shows. 4GB of RAM ensures smooth device operation. Two USB 3.0 ports allow file transfers via flash drive and for expansion. For example, you could add any LOR USB adapter, a USB sound card, a third-party DMX adapter, keyboard, mouse, or additional storage.
The device has a built-in real-time clock which will keep time even no power is applied. Time can be set manually via the touch screen or automatically via an Internet connection. The device has a small built-in UPS. If power is accidentally removed, the device will shut down gracefully, ensuring your data is safe. After power is restored, pressing the power button will turn the Touch Player back on.
The package includes a 12V, 3A power adapter.
