Description Access & Upgrades

To purchase a Major Release Upgrade of your software license, you MUST use the same email address at checkout as the one associated with your license. If you use a different email address at checkout, your purchase will not be applied to your license and you will have to contact us to correct your order.

You will NOT receive a new license key. You will use your original license key with the newer software version.

  • New License Purchase:

    • Grants lifetime updates within the current major version.

    • Example: Buy version 6.x, get all future 6.x updates free.

  • Major Release Upgrade:

    • Upgrades your license to the current major version at the time of purchase.

    • Grants lifetime access to all updates within that major version.

  • License Level Upgrade:

    • Moves your license from one level to a higher one (e.g., Basic to Pro).

    • Also includes an upgrade to the current major version; separate Major Version Upgrade not required.

  • One-Year Free Major Upgrade Window:

    • Any license purchase (new, major upgrade, or level upgrade) includes a one-year grace period.

    • If a new major version releases within a year of your purchase, you get that version for free.

You do NOT have to pay a Major Release Upgrade fee for each major release between your initial version and the most current version available (i.e., upgrading from S3 to S6 still only costs $29.95).

BUT WAIT! Your new license purchase or purchasing a license level upgrade (switching between Basic, Advanced or Pro) also grants you access to download ANYTHING released one year after your purchase date, including a major release of software. Click here if you're still within your year so you can download the latest version of software for free!

Remember: Your software license never expires. You will always be able to use the version you downloaded when you made your initial purchase - no yearly subscription fees to use our software.
