Our SuperStar software lets you take an alternative approach when it comes to sequencing, particularly with smart RGB pixels. Our main software suite focuses on prop-based RGB effects, whereas Superstar lets you have individual pixel control to create detailed drawings and customized effects on your props. Superstar can also be used to sequence regular AC channels, and has additional features like Auto Sequence and Auto Singing Faces that can help you get a jumpstart on creating your own sequences.
Superstar is an ADDON to the main S4 or S5 Software Suite and requires a separate license. When using SuperStar with S5, the PRO license level of the main software suite is required in order to insert Superstar effects in motion effect rows.
You can download the demo version of the full software suite from our website before purchasing a license - Superstar is available in demo form with any license level of our main software suite. If you download the demo version before purchasing a main suite or Superstar license, just register your software by using the form in the Help menu of the Sequence Editor/Sequencer to activate your new features after purchase.
Which Version Do I Need?
One CCR (Cosmic Color Ribbon) is equal to 50 pixels, or 150 channels. For example, if you purchase one of our SuperStar ribbon tree kits (16 strands of 50 pixels), you would need the 24_CCR version of SuperStar (1200 pixels) and you'll still have room leftover. If you are going to use SuperStar for the Auto Sequence feature (compatible with both RGB and AC lights), you will likely be concerned with the number of channels supported. For example, the 8_CCR version would allow you to control 400 pixels, which is also the equivalent of 1200 AC channels (or 75 CTB16PC/LOR160x controllers).
CCRs - Pixels Supported
8 CCRs - 400Pixels
24 CCRs - 1,200Pixels
40 CCRs - 2,000Pixels
60 CCRs - 3,000Pixels
80 CCRs - 4,000Pixels
160 CCRs - 8,000Pixels
320 CCRs - 16,000Pixels
