Installing & Modifying Sequences
Install a Purchased Sequence
Step 1: Download the corresponding music from Amazon. A music link can be found on the Sequence's purchase page.
Step 2: Purchase your sequence. Download the zip folder from the purchase. Open the zip folder and double click the .exe file.
Step 3: Look in your 'Downloads' folder. One file (an .exe) will be in the folder. Double click to start the install process.
Step 4: The first page of the installer asks you to agree to the terms and conditions. The second page prompts for the audio file from Step 1.
Step 5: Installation complete! Open the folder to view your new sequence. Tip: Save a copy with a new name before editing!
Optional: Open and Assign the sequence to use your preview. Make sure you've 'tagged' your Preview Props first!
Install Default Previews
Before opening a store sequence, we recommend you install our default previews in the LOR Sequencer program so that your sequences sync up to a preview that is clearly named. If you plan to make modifications, we recommend you COPY our default rather than changing the original layout.
If you make a copy, you'll use the process to Assign a Different Preview for each installed sequence, so that it uses YOUR customized IDs and Networks. Give the sequence file a unique name so you remember which one is which.
Sequence Configuration Guides
Traditional / Deluxe Sequences
See design recommendations for installing traditional lights, either when using the Traditional Layout on its own, or when using Traditional Lights in RGBPlus or Pixel Bright sequences.
RGBPlus Sequences
By default, RGBPlus sequences are set to use ELOR Networks, with DIP Switches on Pixies set to specific Unit IDs. Here's a list of every CPC's settings when used in RGBPlus (in case you lost your Quick Guide).
PixelBright Sequences
The biggest and brightest layout with almost 18,000 pixels. The default layout uses 1 ELOR network, 5 ports on a Pixielink, and an Aurora Core. Use this page to find DIP Switch settings and Pixielink configuration help.
Modifying Sequences
Use a Store Sequence with YOUR Layout
Prop "Tagging" is the key to easily using our RGBPlus or Pixel Bright sequences. Learn how to configure these settings in your preview.
Customize Your Networks
Need to move your Snowflakes from Network 2 to Network 1? Learn how to easily rearrange networks to work with a Mini Director or one USB485 Adapter.
Add Effects for This Year's New Props
Use version 6.6.0+ to fill in effects for your newly added props this year, or to merge in Singing Face sequences to your current sequences.
Expand Beyond 40 Pixel Stakes
The default layouts have 40 pixel stakes. Download our free 80, 120, or 160 prop files from the Pixel Stake purchase page, then follow these instructions.
Custom Roofline & Frame Lengths
RGBPlus and Pixel Bright sequences have effects for 100 pixels per roofline and frame. Easily change the pixel count (87, 103, anything!) by following this video.
Design a Custom Mega Tree
Default layouts use a 16x25, 16x50 or 32x50 pixel tree, but it's simple to design your own tree of a different size and still use our RGB effects.
